Matthew 2011 One Year Bible Blogging on Facebook posts

Matthew commentary from One Year Bible Blogging on Face book 2011

January 1 Mathew 1:1-2:12;

Matthew 1:16;"Jacob [deceiver] the father of Joseph[YHWH adds] the husband of Mary [Greek for bitter water] of whom was born Jesus[Greek for YHWH saves], who is called Christ[Greek for Highest honor]. Exodus 15:22b-25a;"they came to Marah, they could not drink its water...Moses cried...the Lord showed him a piece of wood"

etymologies derived from Abarim publications.

January 2 Mathew 2:13-3:6;

Matthew 2:16; "When Herod realized he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious" Hosea 10:15b-11:1; "O Bethel [house of God], because your wickedness is great. When that day dawns, the king of Israel will be completely destroyed. When Israel was a child, I loved him, out of Egypt [Distress] I called my son"

Personal note: The venom of faith may still lie in these words: "This is how you will know;" these words appear to always lead to judgment. The will of God then seems to be this: "This is how you must Love".

January 3 Matthew 3:7-4:11;

Matthew 3:7-12; "Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? Produce fruit in keeping with repentance...He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, [Isaiah 41:15] gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff in unquenchable fire"

Personal Note; In this passage, John was speaking to the Pharisees [Separate] who were an offshoot of Hasidim [the pious] and to the Sadducees [The righteous]. He spoke in fulfillment of Malachi 3:3-4 as Jesus would refine their understanding so that the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable. Some see a stage in fulfillment of these passages coming on May 21, 2011 (a day they say is 7000 years to the date following the flood of Noah).

January 4 Matthew 4:12-25;

Matthew 4:13-15; "Leaving Nazareth [set apart, anointed], he went and lived in Capernaum [city of sorrow/grief]...in the area of Zebulun [glorious dwelling] and Naphtali [my wrestling]... the way to the sea, along the Jordan [descend/humble], Galilee of the Gentiles [circuit of man's understanding]

January 5 Matthew 5:1-26;

Matthew 5:25a; "Settle matters quickly with your adversary" vs.14b-16; "A city on a hill cannot be hidden...let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father" vs.5-9; "the meek...will inherit the earth...thirst for righteousness...be shown mercy...see God...be called sons of God"

Scriptural note; Mark 11:9; "Those who went ahead and those who followed shouted, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" Romans 8:29b; "be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers." Psalm 37:37; "observe the upright; there is a future for the man of peace"

January 6 Matthew 5:27-48;

Matthew 5:43-45a; "You have heard that it was said 'Love your neighbor (see 11 verses attached) and hate your enemy (no other verse in the bible).' But I tell you: Love your enemies [bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you], and pray for those who persecute you that you may be sons of your Father"

1.Leviticus 19:18‘Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD."

2.Zechariah 8:17 "do not plot evil against your neighbor, and do not love to swear falsely. I hate all this,” declares the LORD."

3.Matthew 5:43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’"

4.Matthew 19:19 "honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”

5.Matthew 22:39; "And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’"

6.Mark 12:31; "The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

7.Mark 12:33; "To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

8.Luke 10:27; "He answered: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’ ; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”

9.Romans 13:9; "The commandments, “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,” and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

10.Galatians 5:14; "The entire law is summed up in a single command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

11.James 2:8; "If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right."

Scriptural Note: Jeremiah 30:13-15; "There is no one to plead your cause, no remedy for your sore, no healing for you...Why do you cry out over your wound, your pain that has no cure? Because of your great guilt and many sins I have done these things to you" Luke 10:34;"He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine"

January 7 Matthew 6:1-24;

Genesis 16:12 "You shall name him Ishmael [the Lord has heard my misery]... everyone's hand against him, and he will live [to the east of] all his brothers" Matthew 6:6b-9a; "pray to your Father, who is unseen...who sees what is done in secret...your Father knows...This, then is how you should pray: 'Our Father in heaven'"

Scriptural and personal note: Matthew 6:24; "No one can serve two masters...he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other" Perhaps we've always missed the greater point as "money" has been set in the place of d'evil.

Quote from Abarim Publications: ‎"There are to be no powers between any human and the Creator, and this includes governments, theologies, sciences, fears, the Pope, saints, any limitation, any vicarious instrument, person or institute out of any motivation whether benevolent or not. Nothing and nothing at all is to be between man and Maker."

January 8 Matthew 6:25-7:14;

Matthew 7:13b; "The narrow gate" Matthew 6:33-7:12; "seek first his kingdom and his righteousness... do not worry about tomorrow... Each day has enough trouble of its own... For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged... do not throw your pearls to pigs... in everything do to others what you would have them do"

January 9 Matthew 7:15-29;

Matthew 7:15--23; "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise... a bad tree bears bad fruit... I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you.'"

"Agora", I believe, is one of the most powerful movies of our time - even though it portrays the evil inherent in Christian history! The truth I have found Biblically is that religions are depicted as women. In the council of the sons of God of Psalm 82, religion is not allowed to speak! Man must rise to speak as individuals.

Christians must by necessity represent the Spirit of the Word of God by their Love, their Joy, and their Peace. Personal salvation bears no merit if it is not represented in an attitude of humility before our fellowman; thereby glorifying our Father's Love for all of His Children.

January 10 Matthew 8:1-17;

Genesis 24:46;"She [Rebekah/Security]quickly lowered her jar from her shoulder and said, 'Drink, and I'll water your camels [basins of witness]too."Matthew 8:11;"I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast...But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown...into the darkness"

January 11 Matthew 8:18-34;

Matthew 8:32; "He [YHWH is Salvation] said to them [demons of religious self infliction] 'Go' So they went out and went into the pigs [most abhored religious animal] and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water." I Peter 3:21b; "water symbolizes baptism that now saves you "

January 12 Matthew 9:1-17;

Matthew 9:3b-8; "the teachers of the law said to themselves, 'This fellow is blaspheming!' Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, 'Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?...the son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins...When the crowd saw this...they praised God, who had given such authority to men."

January 13 Matthew 9:18-38

Matthew 9:28-29; "When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, 'Do you believe...' 'Yes Lord, ' they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, 'According to your faith will it be done to you'; vs.23-24; "Jesus entered the rulers house and saw the flute players...he said 'Go away. The girl is not dead'"

His story is not about what Jesus did or is doing apart from the Father; His story is about what the Father is doing through this son of man - and what He is doing through each one of us; all because He wrought salvation through His wisdom manifested through flesh.

In answer to a reader's request "Help me get saved"; Hebrews 11:6 states; "Believe God exists and that He rewards those who seek Him." He has forgiven your sins because He loves you and you are saved! Now, watch His mighty hand at work and serve His Kingdom as you love and serve your fellowman.

January 14 Matthew 10:1-25

Matthew 10:25b; "If the head of the house has been called Beelzebub, how much more the members of his household" vs.16b; "Therefore be as shrews as snakes and as innocent as doves" vs. 20; "for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you." John 17:22b; "they may be one as we are one"

Matthew 10:2-4; "These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon [rock or stone i.e. Peter (Petros = easily moveable fragment of rock, while Petra (Living God) was referred to by Jesus in Matthew 16:18], and his brother Andrew [manly]; James [English for Jacob (supplanter/deceiver)], son of Zebedee [my gift], continued: and his brother John [English for YWHW is Gracious]; Philip [Lover of horses] and Bartholomew [son of Tolmai (boldness?), i.e Nathanael (Provided by God)], Thomas [i.e. dydimus (both mean 'a twin')], and Matthew [i.e. Levi (attach to God)], James son of Alphaeus [changing (also father of Matthew)], Thaddaeus [i.e. Judas/Judah (witness/Praise God's or man's character)], Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot [men of the cities] who betrayed him.

Thus, Judas Iscariot [witness the men of the cities] may well represent all of us.

Special note on current news of the day:

"At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn." Matthew 24:30

Ophiuchus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ophiuchus

The Bible reflects God wrestling with the sons of men - leviathan! Although all the interpretations I have read reflect leviathan/Egypt, only the first reflected Joseph as the man. Regardless of which ever interpretation we give it, it is a son of man wrestling the beast! Joseph etymology [add/do again] reflects the cycle. (Also, "serpent-bearer", is very symbolic of Christ taking on the sin of the world)

January 15 Matthew 10:26-11:6

Matthew 10:34;"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth,I have not come to bring peace, but a sword ["the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God" Eph. 6:17]"vs.26b-28;"There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known...what is whispered...proclaim"

January 16 Matthew 11:7-30

Matthew 11:25b;"you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children" Exodus 3:8; "I have come down to...bring them...into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey...home of the Canaanites" Matthew 11:27;"All things have been committed to me by my father"

The Good News of the Great Commission claimed there was NO victory in death! It had everything to do with joy and praise for what Christ hath done for the dust of the earth - and the overwhelming Love of Our Father.

January 17 Matthew 12:1-21

Ezekiel 32:27; "A bed is made for her among the slain... Because their terror had spread in the land of the living" Matthew 12:10-11; "they asked him, 'Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?' He said to them, 'If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out?'"

I must speak out against my war-mongering church! They claim peace is not possible in spite of the Holy Spirit! They claim religious favoritism justified by zionism thereby prolonging violence without peace talks, committing Christians and all Abrahamic believers into mortal conflict in spite of judgment day.

The Messiah spoke to this "self sacrificial" idealism of Christianity and Zionism in Matthew 11:23 symbolized by Capernaum [city of sorrows]. "And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted up to the skies? No, you will go down to the depths."

Acts 2:38b; "Repent and be baptized"

Korazin [furnace of smoke] and Bethsaida [house of fishes], Jerusalem [way of Peace] and the dead sea, the lowest saltiest land mass in the world shall be gathered together in an hour of cleansing and renewal which shall shatter our spiritually warring world as we know it. Repent and be baptized.

January 18 Matthew 12:22-45

Matthew 12:22-32; "Jesus healed him, so that he could both talk and see...they (Pharisees/unleavened) said, 'It is only by Beelzebub [lord of judging words vs. words of salvation]... blasphemy against the Spirit [haima/blood/sacrificial atonement/breath of God] will not be forgiven" Rev.9:20-21 "repent"

January 19 Matthew 12:46-13:23

Matthew 13:15a;"For this people's heart has become calloused" Gal.4:25;"Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem" Deuteronomy 32:36;"The LORD will judge his people and have compassion on his servants when he sees their strength is gone and no one is left, slave or free"

January 20 Matthew 13:24-46

Matthew 13:15a;"For this people's heart has become calloused" Gal.4:25;"Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem" Deuteronomy 32:36;"The LORD will judge his people and have compassion on his servants when he sees their strength is gone and no one is left, slave or free"

January 21 Matthew 13:47-14:12

Matthew 13:57b; "Only in his hometown... is a prophet without honor" Malachi 3:3; "He will sit as a refiner and purifier" Psalm 35:16; "Like the ungodly they maliciously mocked ; they gnashed their teeth at me." Matthew 13:52b; "The owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old"

January 22 Matthew 13:14:13-36

Matthew 14:31b-33; "Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. 'You of little faith,' he said, 'why did you doubt?' And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, 'Truly you are the Son of God.'" Luke 1:35; "the power of the Most High will overshadow you..."

Notes on the word "destroy" from Abarim Publications: "Shaddai is a divine name but not a creation name. It is first used in Genesis 17:1 where YHWH introduces Himself to Abram, saying "I am El Shaddai."

God commands Abram to be blameless and promises him the covenant. Then He changes Abram's name to Abraham.

The meaning of Shaddai is difficult to establish. Septuagint and Vulgate say Almighty (pantokrator and omnipotens) but that's probably more out of enthusiasm than out of sound etymology (it really doesn't mean that). Some say that this name is derived from the verb (shadad 2331), meaning to destroy, hence: My Destroyer. Others furiously refute this because this meaning would go against the nature of God. Isaiah, however, seems to be in the camp of the first when he writes, "Wail, for the day of YHWH is near. It will come as destruction (shad) from Shaddai (13:6)"

Those of the latter camp suggest that Shaddai comes from sadu, a word meaning mountain in the Babylonian (Akkadian) language that Abram spoke. El Of The Mountain, or El of the Gathering.

Some other ideas:

The rabbinic theory is that may be formed by the particle , meaning who, which, or where, or that, plus the word , meaning sufficient, enough. Hence the name Shaddai contains the meaning of Self-Sufficient. This is particularly interesting in light of Psalm 8:5.

may be a derivation of the unused verb , which probably has to do with to moisten or to pour (judging from the cognates and derivatives). One of those derivatives is the word , breast, bosom, used both in erotic scenes and the practical usage of feeding babies. A relation with the name Shaddai is not unthinkable, as this is the name by which God initiates the covenant of which Jesus is the final fulfillment. The apostle Paul compares introduction to the basics of the gospel with feeding milk to infants (1 Cor 3:1-2).

The name Shaddai may have originated in Akkadian, meaning Mountain, but to a Hebrew audience that hears God introduces Himself as El Shaddai, it must have meant both Destroyer, Self-Sufficient One and Source Of Food."

The crazy thing about putting a name on God is it generally "destroy"s us and puts us in enmity with our fellowman. Shadow, the lesser light of the night! An interesting study reflects that Jesus never referred to Himself as "Son of God". However, when presented with the title He did not deny it, but also reflected that all men were "Sons of God." Psalm 82:6 and John 10:34. Amazingly, through many translations, the truth of this study remains sound!

Personal note: It has been difficult for me to avoid the feeling this is a year of new beginnings. Today's reading of Matthew included the feeding of the 5000. Jesus told us to pay special attention to the numbers "5 loaves of bread and 2 fish" to feed al...l the people. In reflecting on this, It was brought to mind that the Hebrew Calendar year is 5771 and the Christian Era Calendar year is 2011. The Bible reflects both sects of Abrahamic Religiosity bringing us these words (grains) of life which shall come to all people. The third sect of Abrahamic Religiosity seems insignificant and separated, and therein lies its importance as we have seen.

January 23 Matthew 15:1-28

Matthew 15:21-28a;"Leaving...(Gennesaret [garden of blessings]) Jesus[Salvation] withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon[Impenetrable rock and Ships of judgment/ hunter's lodge]...'Lord,' she (The Canaanite[insignificant] said,)'...even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master's table'...'Woman, you have great faith!"

January 24 Matthew 15:29-16:12

Matthew 15:39-16:4; "After Jesus had sent the crowd away, he got into the boat and went to the vicinity of Magadan (i.e. Magdalene/Migdal El [watchtower of God, Power of Holy People])... A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a miraculous sign, but none shall be given it except the sign of Jonah.'"

This reflection can go a bit further in understanding this era (7000 lunar years) since the flood as the famine - separation from the presence of God - in the fact Jesus spent 3 days (30 years) with us here on this "hell" on earth. As we ride this boat in a time of seemingly unending violence, it is time to recognize the responsible party and mourn as it is tossed back into the sea - i.e. the reflections on the "crucifixion" of this "land bridge" into the middle earth i.e. "Mediterranean sea".

Matthew 16:9-12; "Do you still not understand? Don't you remember the five loaves [Jewish calendar reflects 5 completed sun millenniums] and how many basketfuls you gathered [12 resembling tribes of Israel/whole of humanity]? Or the seven loaves [Lunar calendar represents 7000 years] for the 4000 [lesser light?] (the fish in each story may well represent the Christian era (fisher's of men)) and how many basketfuls you gathered? [(7) representing completeness once again]... then they understood (he was telling them to guard against the teaching (judgment & condemnation - favoritism - theology of separation of men from God as opposed to Matthew 13:33).

January 25 Matthew 16:13-17:9

Daniel 12:7; "When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed." Matthew 16:13b-17:2; Jesus [YHWH is Salvation] came to the region of Caesarea Philippi [severed love of power]... Peter answered, 'You are the [Messiah]... After six days Jesus... was transfigured... his clothes became...white"

January 26 Matthew 17:10-27

Matthew 17:11-12; "Jesus [YHWH is Salvation] replied, 'To be sure, Elijah [YHWH is God] comes and will restore all things. But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished. In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands."

January 27 Matthew 18:1-22

Psalm 80:12; "Why have you broken down its walls so that all who pass by pick its grapes?" Matthew 18:3-10; "unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven... Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin... cut it off and throw it away" (c John 15:2)

Personal note: If [YWHW's Salvation] is the only way, there is no other way! Our desire to eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil causes death every time. Resist ideologies of an evil kingdom. Seek first His Kingdom of Righteousness and all things will be added to you.

January 28 Matthew 18:23-19:12

Matthew 19:1b-4; "he [YHWH's Salvation] left Galilee and went into the region of Judea to the other side of the Jordan [humbling] Large crowds followed him, and he healed them there. Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, 'Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife [religion?]... at the beginning the creator made them."

Personal Note: For those who may have missed this, I have been witnessing the steps of religious understanding through the character references of women throughout Genesis. Although this may be wrong, it does shed light on the role of women within the greater church. Men must speak of God individually, not through the hostilities of religious attachments.

Personal Note: According to Jesus, the "righteousness" of the Pharisee is still good role to live up to. However, God is the Father of each one of us and we have no right to judge His revelation to another of His Children. The idea alive and well in the world today is that Peace is not possible until Jesus comes again. His Spirit is everywhere now and His Crucifixion did indeed make our Peace possible if we will just believe.

January 29 Matthew 19:13-30

Matthew 19:13-14a; "little children [yes historically, but think spiritually] were brought to Jesus [YHWH's Salvation] for Him to place His hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked those who brought them. Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such"Personal Note Did you ever realize neither God nor Jesus ever rebuked anyone besides the chosen or the elect or the demons? Here are the verses that include either the words Jesus or God with the word rebuke. Just left click on the link to bring up the verses from the NIV;

Matthew 17:18 "Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment.

Genesis 31:42 "If the God of my father, the God of Abraham and the Fear of Isaac, had not been with me, you would surely have sent me away empty-handed. But God has seen my hardship and the toil of my hands, and last night he rebuked you.”

1 Samuel 2:25 "If one person sins against another, God may mediate for the offender; but if anyone sins against the LORD, who will intercede for them?” His sons, however, did not listen to their father’s rebuke, for it was the LORD’s will to put them to death."

2 Kings 19:4 "It may be that the LORD your God will hear all the words of the field commander, whom his master, the king of Assyria, has sent to ridicule the living God, and that he will rebuke him for the words the LORD your God has heard. Therefore pray for the remnant that still survives.”

Nehemiah 13:11 "So I rebuked the officials and asked them, “Why is the house of God neglected?” Then I called them together and stationed them at their posts."

Nehemiah 13:25 "I rebuked them and called curses down on them. I beat some of the men and pulled out their hair. I made them take an oath in God’s name and said: “You are not to give your daughters in marriage to their sons, nor are you to take their daughters in marriage for your sons or for yourselves."

Jeremiah 2:19 "Your wickedness will punish you; your backsliding will rebuke you. Consider then and realize how evil and bitter it is for you when you forsake the LORD your God and have no awe of me,” declares the Lord, the LORD Almighty."

Zephaniah 3:17 "The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing."

Mark 8:33 "But when Jesus turned and looked at his disciples, he rebuked Peter. “Get behind me, Satan!” he said. “You do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”

Luke 4:41 "Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew he was the Messiah."

Luke 23:40 "But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence?")

January 30 Matthew 20:1-28

Matthew20:27b-28;"whoever wants to be first must be your slave-just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many" Matthew20:14-15;"I [landowner]want to pay the man who was hired last the same as I gave you. Don't I have the right to do what I want with my own money?"

January 31 Matthew 20:29-21:22

Matthew 20:33-21:20;"'Lord'...'we want our sight...Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling...Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went to it but found nothing on it...he said to it 'May you never bear fruit again'" Revelation 18:14-15;"The fruit you longed for is gone...merchants...weep and mourn"

Personal Note: II Thessalonians 2:8; "And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming." Israel has been ignoring UN sanctions against the atrocities committed within Palestine since 1948.

Revelations 16:14 speaks of the signs that seem to have justified Zionism for many religious bodies. "spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty"

Personal Note: For those of you who may be concerned about the concerns I am raising for the Holy Land, please understand the mourning and the warning that comes with these posts. I have friends in Israel and Palestine! I know we are nearing the last times and I feel called to reference Revelation 18:4; "“Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues;". Many are expecting a great and terrible day on May 21, 2011 which shall show forth the glory and power of God! For me, current events and Biblical Prophecy warrant this warning's and I feel called to reference Revelation 18:4; "“Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues;". Personal Note: I so often hear that there was no one in Palestine before 1948 - what a wonderful opportunity to remember the Holy Land before the past 63 years! May Peace return! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKYJ2WD79RE (old Palestinian photos)

Joel 2:1;"Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming." Matthew 21:40-41;"when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?...give him his share of the crop at harvestime"Rev.19:1;"glory and power belong to our God"

February 2 Matthew 22:1-33

Mat.22:6b-11;"the rest seized his servants...and killed them. The king was enraged...'Friend,... how did you get in here without wedding clothes?'" Zechariah 3:2b; "Satan! The LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you!" Isaiah 4:4a; "The Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion;" (religions of insignificants?)

February 3 Matthew 22:34-23:12

Matthew 23:1b-12; "Jesus said to the crowds...The teachers of the law...sit in Moses' seat...they do not practice what they preach...Everything they do is done for men to see: They make their phylacteries [That is, boxes containing Scripture verses worn on forehead and arm"] Deut.6:8; "symbols on your hands and...foreheads"

Personal Note: Using scripture in condemnation and judgment of our fellowman could well be the mark of the beast (This "Power of Holy People" of Daniel 12) spoken of in Revelation 13:16. Jesus changed the fear of a God of wrath and judgment to that of a Loving God. Matthew 22:37-39; "Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God...And..."Love your neighbor as yourself" Some Christian Bible versions such as NIV and ESV change Revelation 13:10 (KJV) "he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword" to state; "If anyone is to be killed[c] with the sword, with the sword he will be killed." (NIV1984)

As the verse continues; "this calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints" I must assume this means when we are attacked, we do not lash out in self-defense - killing our fellowman. And we must never use our "Holy Power" of the knowledge of the scripture to control or oppress fellow human beings.

Personal Note: If I may be so bold as to carry this one step further to "even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full view of men" of Revelation 13:13; one may think of Hiroshima, and the power that refuses to allow oppressed nations to use such power to bring energy to their people.

February 4 Matthew 23:13-39

Matthew 23:13b-35; "Woe to you, teachers of the law...You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces...You...win a single convert, and...make him twice as much a son of hell as you are...Which is greater: the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred?...And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth"

Additional Scripture: I John 4:10; "This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins."

February 5 Matthew 24:1-28

Exodus 20:26; "do not go up to my altar on steps, lest your nakedness be exposed on it." Matthew 23:12a; "For whoever exalts himself will be humbled" Matthew 24:12-13; "Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved."

Personal Note: For many of us, it has become a lie to claim our faith is in the Lord - as our faith is in the strength of our military. Lord have mercy. (Lindell Cooley song Kyrie, Lord Have Mercy)

Scripture Notes: Revelation 13:11-18; "Then I saw another beast, coming out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb[similar to Christ?], but he spoke like a dragon [war and destruction?]. 12 He exercised all the authority of the first beast [Israel?] on ......his behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast [Zionism?], whose fatal wound [dispersion] had been healed. 13 And he performed great and miraculous signs [ '67 war etc.?], even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full view of men [Hiroshima?]. 14 Because of the signs [imagery of divine power for Zionism?] he was given power to do on behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the earth. He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword [dispersion according to the Word of God?] and yet lived. 15 He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed [believe the "right" Jesus or go to hell?] 16 He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead [outward observance of the law (Exodus 13:16, Matthew 23:5)], 17 so that no one could buy or sell [communicate salvation apart from their image?] unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.

18 This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number. His number is 666."

I Kings 10:14; "[Solomon’s Splendor] The weight of the gold that Solomon received yearly was 666 talents," (Also II Chronicles 9:13)

Ezra 2:13; "of Adonikam 666" [etymology of Adonikam is 'whom the Lord sets up].

However, the beauty is, there may be hope for the people of the "Holy Land" - and through them, perhaps, a lesson for all mankind:

Romans 4:13-16a;

13 "It was not through law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith. 14 For if those who live by law are heirs, faith has no value and the promise is worthless, 15 because law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.

16 Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed"

February 6 Matthew 24:29-51

Matthew 24:45-46; "Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns." Luke 10:23b; "Blessed are the eyes that see what you see."

Scripture Notes Isaiah 11:6; "6 The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them. Luke 18:16b; "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."

I Corinthians 16:18; "For they refreshed my spirit and yours also. Such men deserve recognition."

February 7 Matthew 25:1-30

I Corinthian 13:2b; "if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing." Matthew 25:5b-29; "The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut... Therefore keep watch... Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him."

February 8 Matthew 25:31-26:13

Matthew 25:35b;"I was a stranger and you invited me in" Mat.26:6-7; Jesus was in Bethany in the home of a man known as Simon the Leper, a woman came to him with...very expensive perfume" Mat.25:43b;"I was a stranger and you did not invite me in" Mat.26:3b-4a;"in the palace of the high priest...they plotted to arrest...and kill"

Scripture Notes: Matthew 26:13; "I tell you the truth, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her." Matthew 24:12-13; "Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations" James 2:26; "As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead."

February 9 Matthew 26:14-46

Matthew 26:31a; "Then Jesus told them, "This very night you will all fall away on account of me" vs.28a; "This is my blood of the covenant" Zechariah12:10b-13:1; "They will look on[b] me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn... “On that day a fountain will be opened to...the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them"

Scripture Notes: Jeremiah 49:12; "This is what the LORD says: "If those who do not deserve to drink the cup must drink it, why should you go unpunished? You will not go unpunished, but must drink it."

Scripture Notes: Matthew 26:26b; "Take and eat; this is my body."

Isaiah 41:26-29; "26 Who told of this from the beginning, so we could know, or beforehand, so we could say, ‘He was right’? No one told of this, no one foretold it, no one heard any words from you. 27 I was the first to tell Zion, ‘Look, here they are!’ I gave to Jerusalem a messenger of good tidings. 28 I look but there is no one— no one among them to give counsel, no one to give answer when I ask them. 29 See, they are all false! Their deeds amount to nothing; their images are but wind and confusion.

Personal Note A comment on Judas Iscariot mentioned in Matthew 26:14 as the betrayer of Jesus; His name, Judas, means the same as Judah (Praise YHWH) and the name Iscariot (men of Kerioth [the cities]) This ties in well with verse 31; This very night you will all fall away. In some way, we have all betrayed the Love and Peace of our Lord.

February 10 Matthew 26:47-68

Leviticus 24:11-14; "The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name...the entire assembly is to stone him." Matthew 26:63b-66; "Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.' Yes, it is as you say'...'He is worthy of death,' they answered" vs.56; "this has all taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled"

Scripture Note: Zechariah 2:7-11a; "Come, O Zion! Escape, you who live in the Daughter of Babylon!... After he has honored me... for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye... I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them... Many nations will be joined...and will become my people."

Personal Note: Just as Christ's crucifixion had to come, so I believe Zionism is a fulfillment of scripture - a further act of God in drawing all men to himself. That is why the world must keep watch so as to recognize the hand of God at work within the Holy Land in bringing about His Peace to men with whom He is well pleased. What has happened in Egypt today is BIG news. I fully expect the power of Holy People will continue to crumble as men and women worldwide seek peace and an end to oppression. Israel has been deemed today as the last vestige of apartheid on earth. KEEP PRAYING FOR PEACE!

February 11 Matthew 26:69-27:14

Matthew 27:11b; "'Are you the king of the Jews?' 'Yes, it is as you say'" Matthew 13:12; "But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 26:25; "And (Peter) went outside and wept bitterly" 27:4; "I have sinned, (Judas) said"

Scripture Note: Ezekiel 16:53; "“‘However, I will restore the fortunes of Sodom and her daughters and of Samaria and her daughters, and your fortunes along with them"

February 12 Matthew 27:15-31

Matthew 27:25; "ALL THE PEOPLE answered, 'Let his blood be on us and on our children" Jeremiah 3:23; "Surely the idolatrous commotion on the hills and mountains is a deception; surely in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel." Hebrews 9:12b; "once FOR ALL by his own blood...eternal redemption."

February 13 Matthew 27:32-66

Matthew 27:42b-44; "'He's the King of Israel!...In the same way the robbers who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him." John 10:8-10a; "All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers...I am the gate...The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life"

Additional Notes regarding Amnesty International's recognition of Egypt's Solidarity

Jesus Christ was sent to the people of Israel to destroy the imagery of a "God of the Jacobites" to the understanding of YHWH is Salvation of all of Creation. He was the face (wisdom) of God's Powerful Gift of Love. Not humanity's right, but God's Right - His Desire - His Love. If we give Him a Name in partiality, we die a bit inside.

Personal and Scriptural Notes: Islamophobia stems from a poisonous venom in those bitten in fear of a snake - a venomous desire to know good and evil. Matthew 3:8 and Luke 3:8b; "Produce fruit in keeping with repentance"

Personal Note: I pray this message might be heard in America and Israel before this sea of humanity flows into the Holy Land in an act of divine liberation and change - one more step toward Heaven.

"America and Israel; You will not be destroyed if you humble yourselves, fall on your knees, and confess your sins to your fellowman. Clear warnings of judgment day have been given."

The Power of communicating as a Body of Peace has come.

February 14 Matthew 28:1-20

‎2 religious questions answered by Jesus; 1.Is Peace possible before Christ comes again? Matthew 28:20b; "surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age" 2.Is some devil in control of earth? Matthew 28:18b-19a; "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me...go and make disciples of all"
